4.8GHz at 1.4 Vcore should put me in the top 2%. not bad thumbsupsmiley.png

still working on 4.9GHz, and hopefully i can break 5GHz. fingers crossed

Run at least 1 hour of Prime95 before thinking you are really stable. 140 seconds is NOT enough to consider that stable bud. You will most likely corrupt your data files with a unstable overclock if you go off of just that for stability. But nice work. I wouldn't be going much higher than 1.4v tho for a 24/7 overclock. That's already higher than I would run 24/7 . Personally I stay at 1.325v or lower for daily driving.

it's just for benching. and no, i'm not sure it's fully stable yet.

for 24/7 i run 4.1GHz, -1.35 offset, giving 1.088V

hehe tongue.gif yeah, i was also a bit nervous taking it into the 1.4x range, and i think i'll need over 1.5V for 5GHz.

i need around 1.45 to get into windows for 4.9, and haven't got 4.8 to work with RAM at 2400MHz :-/

but RAM doesn't seem to be much of a problem at 4.7GHz

Update:
i've reached 4.875GHz @ 1.45 Vcore using the 125 strap.

didn't get the lower voltage i was hoping for though frown.gif maybe a bit more stability nearing 4.9 GHz, but that's pretty much it.

I'm gonna buy a overclocking plan thingy before i take it over 1.5 Vcore for the magic 5GHz tongue.gif
