And the Asus MG279Q we don't have enough people who own it to say, but it should be like the Acer as it's the same panel.

bleeding on the asus mg279q : http://reho.st/view/self/a6e5a58baf62c3b7f03d1b22704320f585879a4c.jpg

thanks
seems like there are no good options yet for 2k Gaming
i might keep my BENQ 1080P 144HZ TN panel monitor until something better comes

yea it is but the fact that i cant get it in my country and only from amazon
and the fact that it has so many problems like DEAD PIXEL/Backlight bleeding
and stuff like that

makes me worried about oredering one of these monitors

maybe i should just wait until something better shows up and also for more reviews all over the internet to make sure ones im getting will be without any kind of problems!

thanks : )

i think i might just go with the PG279Q just because:
its the only monitor available in ISRAEL which means i will have warranty in case i get faulty one
i can get normal price compared to amazon
and thats it

i also would like to know how good you think the G sync compared to a 1080P tn 144hz monitor?
is that the monitor that turn on/off the second you press the power button?
how good you think the TN panel compared for example to an DELL U2312HM ?
and if i want the store to check the monitor date (like yours is "November 2014") where they can find the date?on the back of the monitor itself or its also possible to see that on the box stickers?

thanks!

G-Sync is....ok. I actually find ULMB mode better in some games. G-Sync changes the way the game feels and not always for the better I find.

G-sync adds about £100 to the cost of the monitor, but I don't think it's worth that tbh.

Try enabling it when you might dip below 30fps, below that g-sync feels horrible. Because the monitor refresh will not drop that low, it can't keep everything in sync (which is the whole point of it) smile.gif

It can also slow to a crawl when opening menu screens etc for some reason. So for games with lots of 2D (e.g. map screens) it can be bad.
