Likewise, but I ain't holding my breath... If X4 880K comes out Source, I may be tempted... thumb.gif

You may even see some Intel purists rushing back over due to these babies cheers.gif .

Know I shall be switching back when the 880K arrives because I always fancied AMD's onboard gpu tech to Intel's rubbish.

A10-7880K, A10-7890K, Athlon X4 870K and 880K exist, but they have not been released yet.

The first two are pointless due the existence of A10-7870K, however currently Godavari is not available as Athlon so 870K and 880K do make some sense.

Will the 780k and 7890k also be kaveri but with higher clocks or will they be a new line of fm2+ apu´s?

They are 7870K with higher CPU clocks, GPU and NCLK is naturally the same.
AMD finally realized there was no point in increasing the GPU frequency any further as it is already >266MHz higher than the memory bandwidth can utilize.

Bristol Ridge (Carrizo desktop) should be 8K series, eventhou 8K series Godavari parts exist for OEM markets rolleyessmileyanim.gif

Is Dual Graphics a viable option with a 7870K? I often read about pair it with a R7 250. Does it bring a noticeable Performance boost or is this more like wasted money?

In those extremely rare cases where it works properly, the performance increase is quite significant.
I would personally rather get a Athlon X4 and a Bonaire class discrete GPU.

I'm considering to purchase the Chieftec UNI BT-02B for a AMD Mini ITX APU Gaming System - there are some single slot GPUs that should fit inside. Maybe i find a smaller case. The "hardest" thing (based on the required hardware) i want to play is Mortal Kombat X i think. That should be possible, i just watched some benchmarks on YouTube.

Guys I've got question regarding "Kaveri dual graphic" from my friend,

Question is, Does kaveri "Dual graphic" would use System memory or Discrete memory, in gaming? or they're use both combined instead?? How exactly it works?

any answer would be very grateful thanks.

Don't even bother with dual graphics. Only time I had it working well was in benchmarks, and then it almost doubled my frame rate.

There are done confusing comments in this thread. Some saying they will get an apu chip but then using a gpu as well, which is just wasting money. Others saying they will get an 880k chip because they like onboard gfx... the 880k doesn't have an igpu. Maybe a motherboard gp, maybe....

"Increasing the igpu doesn't increase performance because memory limited" What? This is just silly, performance increases substantially along with clock speed of the gpu.

Lastly, the new A10s are not pointless, they are quite a leap in stock clock rate and likely to clock higher than 7870k.
