So does the Steam version launch GOG Galaxy then once it's launched off of there?
Can you at the very least do some research?

GOG galaxy is nothing but a handy optional program. It works exactly the same as their site which is 100% DRM free.
The only difference is that now instead of going to do downloaded files to click on install, it does it for you.

and will auto download patches for you if you leave it running that is.

I really the idea of the GOG client. Partly because I don't want only one client, as that limits competition, as is the case today with Steam. The other reason is that I don't like having to log into GOG.com and look for updates and download them manually. With a client all of that is handled right there and I can browse their games and buy news too. Really what is the GOG.com website if not a client substitute.

There is room enough for more than one, especially since the GOG Galaxy client contains no DRM and does not need to be running for you to play your games.

Witcher 3 is awesome btw.

I used the GOG client after my initial post and it's not as bad as I thought it would be. I guess I like to have everything in one client, but having choices and competition in the end is the better thing.

Yes, Witcher 3 is a fantastic game. thumb.gif
