[TPU] Gigabyte Intros Z97X-Game Plus Motherboard - Page 4

I'd maintain that a relatively inexpensive H97 motherboard paired with an i5-4690 and a GTX 970 makes for the backbone of a system that would work for 99% of "enthusiasts"...

CPU: Intel Core i5-4690 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor ($215.99 @ NCIX US)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-H97M-D3H Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($82.98 @ OutletPC)
Video Card: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 970 4GB WINDFORCE 3X Video Card ($302.00 @ Newegg)
Total: $600.97

OT: It's nice to see green back, though the red/black combo is my favorite scheme even for me it's grown old. I built my g328 build around blue and silver in a black case due to this. Then again, that case sports a Intel/Nvidia combo so I figured blue and silver were fitting, atleast for Intel. I usually do my builds around the GPU though, hence most being red and black these days.

I know this pretty much a dead thread but seeing as I now have this motherboard I wanted to know if anyone else has it and what their thoughts are. I have paired mine with a 4790K and 16GB Ram.

Thanks
