Yes, we could definitely use your help in Stage 5 at the least, but probably in Stage 1,3 and 4 as well. thumb.gif

Yeah, for sure I can help. Once the loop is done of course. Unfortunately I don't have the 4790k anymore, but this 4770k will do.

The 4790k I had did 5ghz 1.33v 24/7 D:

Hi guys.

I'll introduce myself to the team but I'm not new to it, been submitting since 2011, way before there were Novice and Rookie leagues rolleyes.gif

Got 15 gold cups recently from my placeholder card, a 380X. Seems I'm the only person to bench the 380X for HWBOT. biggrin.gif

Can't wait until I get my dual Polaris (or Pascal is Polaris is seriously weak but I'd like to stay AMD.)

See you around. thumb.gif

Welcome! Seen a bunch of your subs on the 'bot before. Glad you could make it here! Don't forget to stretch out that 380 here:

How do the point systems on HWbot work exactly?
Because for an average result benchmark of my phone i get some points but for a good one i don't get any point.

A couple of reasons, first the point system is popularity based. Meaning the more submissions for a particular piece of hardware the more points that you can gain for benching it. If it is a popular mobile chip, you can gain more points for a mediocre overclock than the very best run on a rare or unpopular chip.

The second thing is that not every benchmark will give points. Some are in beta and too new and some have security flaws that mean the results can't be trusted for rankings. You can see which give points here:

http://hwbot.org/benchmarks/

Hope that helps!

Thanks now i know on what benchmarks i need to focus to get some points.
But the amount of points also seems to differ on how popular the hardware.
I mean that if it is more popular there are more benchmarks from it and i you got up high you score good points.
Or is this not the case?

Just trying to figure out if my hardware is going to score some points
I'm using an i7 3770k @ 4.6 and a GTX970 also mildly overclocked

Any piece of hardware, no matter if its popular or not, is given points by the same benchmarks. There is an equation, an algorithm, that takes the number of submissions and turns it into a point structure.

For example: i7-3770k has 46000 submissions and several of the categories have 50 points to the first place submission in some of the benchmarks. [LINK]

If you look at the non-K version of the 3700, there are only 3500 submissions and you can see that most of the categories only have 2 points for a first place submission. [LINK]
