4gb GTX 770 OC SLI and PhysX question

I'm currently running an ASUS Maximus VII Formula motherboard with an intel 4790k and have 3 PNY GTX 770 OC 4gb cards. Now, this board will only support 2 way SLI, but I'm wondering if I might see any help if I put the 3rd card in the bottom slot which is a PCI-e 2.0 and dedicate it to PhysX. Before I get hammered, I already have all this, I'm NOT buying it, just looking to see what I can do with what I've got until I can afford to upgrade the cards. Thanks in advance.

No you can't. Nvidia cards need at least 8x to run, and seeing an i7 4790K has only a max of 16 lanes to give you can only run in dual SLI. AMD cards are the ones that can run at 4x.

The GTX 770 is kinda underrated atm, and 2 of them is just fine for now even at 1440p at 4GB smile.gif
