I tried to duplicate your settings as I have the same monitor, but a lesser CPU and GPU. Something definitely seems awry on your end.

I don't know why I bumped down to 4.4GHz; I went to 4.7GHz and scored an 1133 @ 45.FPS, so not much of a difference. Looks like this is GPU related IMO.

Did you have v-sync on when you duplicated my settings?

Yeah I think that was my fault I had v-sync on and it capped me to 60fps. I ran it again without v-sync, and firestrike just to be sure here are the results:

That looks better. Honestly, I don't see any glaring issues that would cause freezing aside from random glitches.
Have you tried playing the games again and are you still having the same problems?

I'm sorry, the freezing has stopped as far as I know with unparking the cores and down clocking to 4.7GHz. and well, it seems stable but its little things like for instance I watched a video on youtube and it was laggy and we have very fast internet. Also when I am on the desktop and move a window around I get tracers like it is running slowly; and sometimes it just feels sluggish compared to what it was before the upgrade which should have increased performance not the opposite. I think the freezing was mainly caused by a factory unstable overclock of over 5ghz and I still can't get anything past 4.7 without becoming unstable and freezing the PC. I haven't done any real hard core gaming yet but what little bit I did play of Metro last light seemed better than what it was (no freezing or weird visual ticks). Of course In about six hours I will be putting it through its paces with Witcher 3.

That's why I came here I felt that the problem was my clock speeds they were so out of whack when I started and I never touched them before. It was all factory, I don't know why things went so awry.

Taking the 9590 to 5GHz stable is another battle completely. biggrin.gif

I guess report back if you experience any other problems, but unless someone else sees something I don't, it appears like you're running as you should be.
