I dont know what the problem is i was doing fine for maybe 10 hours then suddenly my screen turns black and i can hear my youtube videos i was watching. Also this first happend when i was playing this game my screen will turn black and make loop noises it seems to me it only happens to that 1 game. then suddenly when i turn off my comp and take out the ram and put it back in my comp would start and 2 seconds later turn off and on and off. I fixed it by putting the ram in a different slot. What could be the problem?

It sounds like a BSOD without the BS part.

Have you checked your windows event log to see if anything in particular happened?

are you sure that sound you hear is not from your own screaming voice?

Well, it could be a few things. You mentioned fiddling with the ram, so that could be one possibility. Normally, first thing I check when there are any visual anomalies is anything to do with the video card, output, or drivers.

if its only happening in one game, could be a driver issue. Since you were multi-tasking the game and youtube, if i understood that correctly, could also be a heat issue with the gpu.

Also, since you were multi-tasking and got a temp fix by swapping ram into other ports, could be the ram itself or the mobo. Are the other ports you swapped into a different memory channel? Maybe you were having issues with ram usage and there's an issue with that ram running in whatever configuration the original ram slots were in.

I definitely agree with Angel though, check the windows event log and look for evidence. With so many possibilities, you need something to help guide you.
