Well so much for that. And I can attest to the GTX Titan only being able to muster 30 fps at ultra settings which lead me to that article. Funny the game detected my hardware and maxed everything yet I'm getting dips into the mid-low 20s very occasionally. Hairworks take a huge chunk out of the framerate as well.

I think people just see GameWorks features in a game and automatically jump on the anti-Nvidia bandwagon out of ignorance.
It is so dead serious, it is not fun mentioning it anymore. mad.gif

What you need credentials for? Do I need to spoon feed you where it says brainstem degeneration?

possibly, since i have a bit of "wet brain" myself from 30+ years of alcohol abuse followed by 10+ years of sobriety (i'm 53)

so please tell me how you looking at one finding with some pretty pictures will give me or anyone more information about a medical condition i have then the several professionals i have seen in the last decade?

you are completely out of your league - this is not a game of your usual "one upmanship" move on.

I think the difference is Mantle was intended to be able to work on competing hardware.
Nvidia never would have supported it though, hence it turned into Vulkan.

Well who would use a API completely controlled the competition?
Also, to this day mantle is still not open, despite what they promised.
And no, Vulkan and mantle are not the same.
