Update: We now lies before the Review version including Day-1 patch, this is quite different from the one shown in the screen shots and our previous videos Preview version, from whom also most other published material on the Internet. In comparison, you can quite clearly improved representation of vegetation, recognize the shading and textures, to us an evidently more expensive water view noticed where wind dependent tessellated waves can be observed now and reacts dynamically to spells or similar.

Comparison Picture at source. (It's a Slider)

Also, Low / Medium / High / Ultra comparison here:

Sure wish there were more comparisons though. I highly doubt they added the several missing assets and building tessellation as well as the smoke / fire effects we saw in the 2013/2014 videos. Only time will tell. We are less than 24 hours away to see what this Day 1 patch truly brings to the table.

Looks like game is very easy to run. 1440p with 290X no GW they are getting ~ 50 fps.

One can only hope. I hope my 7950 Boost overclocked can push a decent framerate around 30-40fps ultra. It has yet to let me down! (Not including nvidia gameworks rigged "Project Cars") Not to mention thats without released drivers biggrin.gif

The game looks almost the same on low as it does on Ultra lol.

Man I still recall when there was a marked difference between High and Max Settings in PC games. Now you have to look for them. How times have changed.

I thought I was going crazy lol. If you have to look for differences, then there is a problem

Looks bad on all settings. Is this a joke?

And yes, its hard to tell the difference between low and ultra. This is a huge letdown

Many people obviously. Just like music, voice acting, story, characterization and a lot of other things, graphics are also a very important part of a game. Anyway, I'm done pre-loading my free copy. Probably would have never touched it after that downgrade debacle. Not because it isn't a good game. I simply don't support devs lying through their teeth.

Umm...am I the only one not seeing a difference other than some, perhaps, stronger ambient occlusion and the vignette?

Certainly not what I would call "several improvements". Nothing close to what we were shown in earlier game play vids and all that.
