I've had zero problems with the driver ironically.
WHQL just means the driver won't mess with windows, it means nothing about the quality; where did you hear WHQL meant the driver was quality
? I've been seing that a lot in this forum recently, and unless M$ changed their testing procedure it has zero to do with the quality of the driver. Its just a series of tests M$ demands a dev to jump through to prove their driver won't mess around with windows. M$ could care less if the driver works.
I believe the reason i heard that AMD hasn't been doing WHQL releases is due to the xfire frame pacing bug and their continued attempts to fix it on the non-bridgeless cards. The issues deal with dx11 and dx9 which deals us back to screwing around with windows again, so until AMD is confident they've got those issues whacked and M$ is convinced it won't screw with windows then you won't see many WHQL releases.
