It's never crashed for me. Tried multiple games.

Two monitors, though one is off.

It's another bad driver. Basically it's the previous horrible one with some extras. The led functionality of the Asus Swift is still broken by this driver just like in the previous, the driver crashes in desktop for me without even fire a game. And they also moved and changed some things in NVCP (like the colour format which is now located at the resolution tab pff). The Prefered refresh rate (ancor communication) option now defaults at "prefer maximum refresh rate" which is not bad but cause games to flicker for a sec when you maximize or minimize them because it forces the maximum refresh rate. Overclockability also dropped for me. Basically I never saw such bad drivers for me for some years. The 2 last driver were horrible for my system. Really bad drivers.

Shouldn't your in game hertz be the same as your desktop? This would avoid the flicker...

It isn't only the light being stuck on, G-sync is really on all the time but the Windows DWM acts like a game feeding a constant refresh rate so it usually doesn't hurt much (unless using >2 G-sync monitors I suppose?). It does mess up video playback with madVR though. I am curious why this is happening, maybe they needed a way to allow G-sync with Full Screen Windowed and can get the Windows DWM turned off for some games?

I am very disappointed that this driver did not fix this issue. I guess the G-sync install base isn't large enough for Nvidia to make correct G-sync behavior a high priority. frown.gif

Yes it would but, given the power usage when using a 144 Hz desktop, using 120 on the desktop makes sense to me. However, Nvidia changing the default setting back to "Fastest Available" shouldn't be a reason to dislike a driver. After all it is easy to change the option. rolleyes.gif

I like it this way, 144 Hz G-sync in games with a 120 Hz desktop (for the idle clocks) is ideal, IMO.

Okey so this driver was a no go for me.

GTA V got slightly higher FPS, although not much. Some times when starting the game it ended up with weird colours and I had to force reboot. Half the time starting the game it refused to clock up to 3D clocks and was a 575mhz 2D clocks instead...

Haven't tried it in any other games, but with this experience it's hard to recommend.

I get corrupted vertical lines when watching twitch on other screens than the main screen.

In windows 10 the driver installs but my gtx 980 says there's a problem in device manager. Had to roll back to 350.12. The Windows 10 WHQL drivers cause weird graphical glitches in some of my games.

Rather disappointed the g sync issue is still there. I tried playing without this driver and sli is not working or barely doing anything so I'm forced to use these crap drivers unless I don't want to max things out with playable frame rates. Using a ROG Swift with sli 970's. Actually I'm just going to hold off playing until they release a sli driver without the g sync issues since I want ulmb on the desktop and other games without having to always switch it on or off in the control panel. This issue was in the previous driver but like someone else said I guess we are not really a priority and yes I bugged it with nvidia when it got released.
