Ok, to start with, I am not replying just because you are promising to give a Rep to anyone who can tell you what the default in-game brightness is. I am replying purely because you need help and I want to see if I can provide that help. That is my only motivation for helping. I don't care if I get nothing out of it because I get enough out of it by simply attempting to help. My reward comes from trying to help. The fact that you are promising a Rep to anyone who tells you what the default in-game brightness is doesn't motivate me or make me want to tell you. I couldn't care less about receiving something in return for trying to help.
So, please remove that line from your original post. It's very insulting to anyone who has a genuine desire to help and it can cause people to misjudge anyone's true intentions and motivation for trying to help you. Furthermore, you will never know if those who are trying to help you are genuinely interested in trying to help you or if all they care about is trying to scam a Rep point out of you! Think about it: anyone can CLAIM they know what the default brightness is just to cause you to give them a Rep point.
Anyway.... let's get started.

I've never had this problem with Crysis 3, so I will start off with this question just to get the ball rolling a little bit: do you have any 3rd party programs installed that are for adjusting your monitor's brightness or the color temperature or anything like that?
