your pump may use up to like 20W depending on which you get

overall its not huge

If you use the bridge for the GPU blocks then you just need to two extra fittings. One for inlet and one for outlet.
Remember, the bridge size you need depends on the spacing of your board. You haven't filled out a MyRig thing for your profile so I was just guessing with the example.

2m of tubing should be enough unless you use an enormous case and really inefficient connecting of components with criss crossing of the main section. Just connecting each part to the closest in a logical loop does not use a lot of tube.

If you mean added wattage from the pump and fans, its pretty insignificant.

How to tell if that EKDual 3 slot is compatible? went to EK website and there's no compatibility list for that product. i guess i'll just measure it manually.

Yeah it is the Dual 3 slot like a linked above you want. Pretty much all Intel small chip (1150 etc) boards use the same spacing of PCI slots.
I just guessed that might be what you need because it is the most common.
I find it easier to tell what type you need by counting the spaces between slots rather than the slots themselves. 3 spaces between the two X16 slots means a 3 slot bridge.

I just realised that I have anohter option: I can sell these 290x cards and simply buy 980 sli and just stick with the aftermarket aircoolers. My question is would the 980 sli option be as quiet and cool enough compared to 290x cf custom watercool?

"You're also going to want a drain of some sort, you can just buy a valve or use a t-fitting and put them on the lowest part of your loop to make emptying the loop much easier." Ok so how do i organise a drainage method. Would any of these help and how would i employ them in the loop?

If you want a dedicated drain port then the tap is the best option. You can put it lots of places but the D5 res has a spare inlet port that could be used. You just need the right fittings.

This for the recessed inlet port on the res

This seems like the only male to male fitting they have

So what do i do exactly? I buy these 3 items for a drain port
https://www.ple.com.au/ViewItem.aspx?InventoryItemId=617747
https://www.ple.com.au/ViewItem.aspx?InventoryItemId=615977
https://www.ple.com.au/ViewItem.aspx?InventoryItemId=616539
and would connect these parts in what way? presumably the valve at the end?
The socket extender connects to the res because it uses recessed inlet ports that most fittings won't fit into. If you placed the valve somewhere else you wouldn't need it. Then the male to male fitting, then the tap. Its pretty self explanatory.

You might also want to maybe put a barb on the tap so you could attach some tubing that you can feed to a bucket or whatever.

I suppose this simple barb will do? https://www.ple.com.au/ViewItem.aspx?InventoryItemId=612945 It will just screw into the mini valve yeh? Also if its connected to the bottom of the reservoir that means that its only the valve thats stopping the water from flowing out? Is that secure enough? Any part to just seal the drain when not needed?
