60fps is going to be more important than all the knobs cranked, and Nvidia doesnt seem to think that titans in SLI will get much better than 30 in ultra @ 4k

Eeeh... 60FPS is very important in some games but a 3rd person sword fighting game that is best played on a controller (according to many reviews). Dips into the 40s is plenty.

KB+M controls in this game are inferior enough that they didn't let anyone use it at demo booths, even though they were running on PC. If you look back, not a single time was the game played with KB+M until this week. Most of the reviewers that had PC versions were using a 360 controller still. Overall, KB+M is generally worse for games like this. Dark Souls 1 & 2 being the extreme example, where the controls were so bad it was virtually unplayable.

Many many people played TW2 with a controller even though it was PC exclusive at launch.

Slash and burn may feed you today but you better have a new field to work on tomorrow.

Edit: And I guess that's the meat and potatoes of it isn't it? It seems like a lot of companies can't look forward beyond the next two or three titles and make these kinds of decisions based upon where they want to be 5 years from now. Even the guy in his garage opening up a startup tomorrow knows that if he doesn't have a set of goals and guidelines to get him there that he will never leave that garage. So many game developers seem to get a few big hits, peak, plateau, and then wither away because they never set a roadmap to follow to get them any further.

He may want the 60 frames when traveling on horseback though. The steed seems to be going a decent speed when galloping through the country side.

The amount of "hate", the so called "boycott", EA being labelled the worst company, and all the other controversies hasn't stopped people from buying games. Look at watchdog, Assasin's creed, far cry 4, bf4, hardline...Those games have sold a lot on all 3 platforms.

Infact in a strange way it has caused people to buy more copies. Companies know this and that boycotts are meaningless and the majority of their customer will buy a broken product no matter what or a product that has just been repackaged with a prettier box.

I vastly prefer mouse and keyboard for this kind of game just because i can quickly snap the camera around to see what is going on.
I remember playing Assassin's creed 2 or Brotherhood with gamepad, at some tombs i simply had to switch to mouse and keyboard for the precision.
Also i will lower everything to absolutely minimum if that is required to get 1440p 60fps. I cannot stand lower no matter what.

According to the Nvidia tweak guide, making the available vram pool larger would help in that instance, as it allows more textures to be cached so they don't have to be streamed as much.

You can use both controller and KB+m interchangeably this time I believe. Lot of people use controller for gameplay and then mouse for inventory sounds like.

I just want to know. Will the PC version look similar to Consoles with GameWorks features off or do Consoles have something else in place of GameWorks?

PS4 is very similar. Only the PC has better shadow and slightly better detail but its only a £280 console. Runs better then a £400 PC.

Yeah that bugs me too, as well as interface management being way better on KB+M.

Everything else appears to be better on controller in these type of games. Really comes down to preference and each has pros/cons.

They have no form of GameWorks, the fur is static and doesn't move.
