Hello, My name is Shane and this is not my first computer build. However, this will be the first time i will be modding a case. My previous builds were just buying basic pieces and putting it all together. Have never done water cooling before either. I will be doing water cooling in this PC. Have not decided If i want just a contained unit for just the CPU or full system. I will be building off of the Cosmos 2 Case.

There was a build on here earlier based off of the Cosmos 2. A sick orange one i cannot remember the builder but will be using his work log as a guild for mine. I welcome ideas you guys/gals may have. This build will be stretched over a few months as my work schedule is very hectic right now and can only spend a few hours a week on it for now.

Thank you for taking a look

I took off the right door and have taken off the dust cover and black chrome hinges. After that I removed the 8 plastic caps on the top and bottom of the door. I do not have pictures of this as i forgot to take some. Under these plastic pieces are metal tabs that hold the metal shell to the plastic interior. Once the 8 top and bottom and 6 on the sides are pulled up I started to slowly peel the metal skin off the plastic piece.

This was very difficult as the tape is very sticky. Between using screw drivers and spatulas I managed to get the skin off with no damage to the metal piece and minor blemishes on the plastic piece from the screw drivers use in the beginning. After the removal of the metal piece I began to remove the double sided tape. Im using isopropyl alcohol and some goo gone to remove it. So far its been an hour and have only removed one level of the tape. I should get it all removed in the next few days.

Are you going to leave the vent stubs around the window or use a shim to block them? I think it would look cool both ways with lights. Any color in mind?
I will be coveirng those vents up and painting over them. I have not decided on a color scheme yet. Thinking either white/black/blue, white/black/orange, or white/black/purple

Sanded the edges with emery cloth. Wasn't the straightest cut, but from a short distance cannot tell.

I did however, somehow manage to cut the radius of the top left corner different from top right. That might bug me.

Next step is fill in the holes, sand ot all down, and paint :)
