Gelid Thermal Compound on Router Chips - do I need an adhesive also ?.

Dear Overclockers,

I have bought some Gelid Solutions GC-3 3.5g Extreme Performance Thermal Compound Paste to put on two broadcom chips in my wireless router and then aluminium heat-sinks on both (I do a lot of torrenting biggrin.gif).

My questions are

1) Is the Gelid thermal compound enough by itself to make the heat-sinks stick to the chips permanently so that they don't move or will I have to use a thermal adhesive also ?.

2) How do I source the right size heat-sinks for those broad-com chip-sets ?.( good old measurement with a ruler in mm ? ).

Thank you guys.
