Note: I originally wrote this on the nVidia forum directed at ManuelG; I think I removed all directed parts of this message but if I didn't please do forgive me

I've gone through two 35x drivers on my GeForce GTX 660 Ti and both ultimately end up exhibiting the same problem: a useless nVidia Control Panel. This does not occur at all with any of previous 34x drivers or pretty much any other driver I have ever installed on this system.
  • OS: Windows 8.1 Pro with Media Center (x64)
  • Processor: Intel Core i7-3770K
  • Memory: Corsair Vengeance Pro (24GB total RAM)
  • Motherboard: ASUS P8Z77M-Pro (UEFI 1805)
  • GPU: MSI nVidia GeForce GTX 660Ti Twin Frozr

I've done clean installs without GeForce Experience, used DDU, clean installs with GeForce Experience, pretty much everything.

The moment DSR is enabled, the control panel starts behaving strangely with options not displaying but when the system is rebooted all options stop displaying except Stereoscopic 3D which is something I don't even care about.

Fortunately I've set all my settings so I can bite the bullet and use this drive but this is starting to get me fed up with nVidia.

Oh, and I also get that Vegas Pro 12 error that others have been reporting. Not as big of a deal though as having a completely unusable control panel.
