Seriously. And I get more confused after reading all the analogies and reversed opinions. From now on these threads should have a poll attached. Is NV/AMD wrong for for the reported behavior?... is this source even reliable 😁

so from a consumer point of view, it seems to be always safer to go with green team?

All this bickering. All the companies are only out for your money, and don't care about anything else. I just don't understand all the fanboy crap going on anymore. Buy what YOU want and can afford. This site used to be very informative, but it has gone down hill the past year. redface.gif

edit: I also buy from both gpu companies, and don't think 1 is better than the other. They both have their strengths and weaknesses.

This hits hard. To think Nvidia is only about the money and not advancing technology. :/ I might have to tear down my green flag in a little bit here. I'll wave that red flag proud. It's crazy that AMD still works to optimize software they create for both Nvidia and AMD cards. It's how you know AMD is trying to advance technology, not just make some software/hardware to get them ahead and watch sales numbers go up.

Also, this dev is selling for two markets (AMD, Nvidia) so it's THEIR responsobility to cater for both of them, if they don't they lose customers and that's an first way to go down, if you can't understand that keep your fanboyish way of thinking and good luck in the future.

How is it the dev's "responsibility" to make the product work with AMD if they don't want to/care to. What kind of logic is that? If you as a consumer do not like how the game works with what you have you can either A) Not buy it or B) Change what you have. You have no right to tell a developer how to design their game or who their target audience should be. The only rights you have are to not buy the game, and of course the right to whine about it.

The devs want to sell a product. Unless they aren't a for profit company, they have every responsibility in the world to make the product work for costumers.

edit: of course that is, assuming the marketshare justifies the investment, and depending on gpu vendor business tactics, the cost of the investment might go up or down. Either way, as I see it, if a dev wants to make a console game, they can go ahead and do that. Nvidia might just be some sort of home console. = D (I'm for clear cut lines, if the product isn't supposed to run well on AMD, then make a statement about that.)
