The FT and Broadwell on the 13 inch are well worth it. the 13 is about a pound lighter than the 15, thus ideal for travel.

I think the coming skylake laptops will compete quite nicely with this. Which is good for me because I'm in the market for one.

I kind of want one of those, but I know a 5K monitor plus $1,000 graphics card added to my current system will blow that thing away, and if it can do 5K it can do 4K@120hz, so that's the much preferred option.
Now I just need to hurry up and wait for Displayport 1.3. *Sigh*

These look amazing

The 15-inch only got an "update" because the there has been a sever cut in supplies as they were unable to source a certain transistor/capacitor for the current GPU(old), thus an "updated" model.

I work at an Apple retailer

I hope I don't get banned from here for saying that... biggrin.gif

For some reason I am oddly drawn to the 5k iMac. I want to buy one so badly for some reason but I can't figure out why?

You mean a single AIO hotbox with one miniscule exhaust port, one fan and one integrated heatsink for all the components inside with no air intake?

Hmmm...
