Looking for a gaming mice (fps)

Hi,

I've been searching on the internet for a mice but can't find what is the best for me so I'm looking for your help smile.gif

1. What's your grip style?

I think claw grip is the closest grip style from mine.

2. What's your sensitivity?

I'd say medium.

3. What's your maximum budget?

30€ (50€ if it really worth it).

4. Do you want additional buttons?

Not necessary but can be a +

5. What games do you play?

Ghost recon phantoms (third person shooter)

6. Do you mind about prediction?

Don't know because never used it (or I didn't know).

7. Other relevant information:

Button activation force : I want it quite soft. For exemple I had a mad catz rat 7 and I found the right and left clic very good. Same for the scroll wheel, I don't want it too hard to push (for the rat 7 it was maybe a bit to hard).

Here are some models wich seemed quite good to me :

But I'm not an expert and open to any suggestion even if the mice is very different.

Thanks by advance.

After some research I think I'll go for the Logitech G402 wich seems to be a safe bet. What do you think of this choice ?

Considering the G502 has a similar shape, if you use a claw grip it'll be great, at least I think the G502's shape is perfect for my claw grip. However considering I used to be a player with very low sensitivity (1.25 at 450 CPI, 0.9x zoom sens) the G502 was making it feel pretty dragged and sluggish so I can tell the G402 could be pretty nice because of the lighter weight. Alternatives might be the Rival and Deathadder which you can grab off of Amazon for cheap. Rival is a bit longer which I like since I use it as my main mouse and I prefer a little bit more weight up the front while clawing, the DA is a bit slimmer on the left side and is shorter.

If you like smaller mice I would suggest the Ninox Aurora as it seems like it's the best performance for the price when it comes to the sensor, some people have problems with the build quality but I didn't have any (ordered from Amazon).

But if you want lighter force for the buttons I guess you should go for the DA. Some people say it's a palm mouse, others say it's a claw grip mouse, but I clawed it all the time because it felt massively awkward when palming it.

I would go with the G100s or Ninox Aurora over the G402 for claw grip. Of those two the G100s will feel more full in your hand, and sports a better scrollwheel imo. The Aurora comes with side buttons and has better clicks, but the stock feet are pretty bad.

I'm not exactly sure of my grip style...I think it depends a lot of the mice you actually have in your hands. For exemple now I am using a very little mouse and use it in tip grip style.

What do you think of the roccat savu ?

I googled the DA and Rival but seems too expensive in french shop. The Ninox don't seem avaible in France.

The G100s seems avaible for not too exepensive price (40€). At this price there is also the SteeSeries Kinzu v3, what do you think about it ?

I'll try to go to a shop today to try some mouse but not sure I'll have time enough and not sure they let people try mouse.

clawing a 126g mouse. can't be serious.
go with the fk2 or the lua, they are both good.

Zowie FK1 or FK2. FK2 is same thing just a little bit smaller. Just the clicks are stiff which isn't what you want, but the mouse otherwise is thumb.gif

You didn't read too thoroughly it seems. I have touched just on that problem in that one post. If I'm comfortable with the shape doesn't mean I'm automatically comfortable with the weight, obviously. Not only that, even said that the G402 might be the better alternative because of the lighter weight and almost identical shape.

But if I'm quite honest, it isn't as painful as people make it look like, as if I gotta have a triceps, eat properly and work out with 2 G502s as my weights or something. The problem only presented itself since I'm using a low sensitivity and the weight just made everything feel so much slower. Can't see much of a problem clawing it on a sensitivity of like 2 @ 450 and up. But just like everyone else, it's a matter of perspective and anything can be used in any way as long as you're comfortable.
