Hello everyone, Trading/Gaming rig needs 3rd GPU and I am looking for some help in making a decision.

Hi guys, I need some help.

I am a full time forex trader, recently I have found out that my performance is better when I don't look at the charts all the time. It seems if I play while waiting for a setup I make more money then if I watch the charts all the time, but the 580 alone is starting to have some problems with games I play. I have 4 monitors running on this, but recently I started to play with SLI and GPU overclocking but it seems I didn't do my homework properly cause when the cards are running SLI I can't use all my monitors (duh). So I would like the 2 X 580s to go sli on my main monitor and add another card that will support the remaining monitors.

So my first question is - what is my cheapest option GPU to run another 3 monitors.

And now the tricky question, what if I want to add another 2 monitors? So the 3rd GPU would have to be able to handle 5 monitors there will be no difficult data meaning no 3rd data on those, just internet browser and charts.

Thank you guys!

Rgds,

For 2D graphics any cheep card will do just fine. Like even a $5 garage sale card!
Most will even run two monitors. You can plug in as many as you have slots for.
The issue is how many pcie slots do you have?
As for a single card running 5 monitors, not likely.

Hi,

I have only one more PCIE available so I need one card to do it all. I am 100% sure it is possible I was just looking for my options.

Thank you,
