Really depends on your budget and usage. If you're solely using it for games the G3258 and i3s are good options, but if you're doing some productivity the 860k and FX-6300/8300s are really nice for the budget, especially once overclocked.

if you were to state what it was for, gaming for example, then also your maximum budget and what shops you were buying from I'm sure someone will put something together for you smile.gif

I have to think the best value would be the Athlon X4 860K.

i live in france , and component are expensive here
i have less 500 euros .

i've 3-4 questions

if i understand it's necessary to have the best strong frequency for the cpu ?wheee.gif it's exact ?

i listen for some Apu (a8 or a10) 2 problems

the first . when the igp is in load , the cpu lost some hundred MHz mad.gif

the second problem , if it's a 95 watts TDP, i think it's difficult to O.C. this cpu (with or not K) mad.gif (i mean to the temperature)
and need to changed the fan for something more important
and dont sure i can to O.C the system when the system down the frequency of the cpu

(i dont speak about the ram more expensive )

it's the same problem with the x4 860k
he doesn't lost frequency but he 's in 95w
so i think it's difficult to O.C him...the temperature mad.gif

i know it's exist the A8-7600 and a10-7800 in 45 or 65w
but, if i dont say a bull****, it's impossible to O.C. her because not K

all amd fx are in 95w too

for resume , i think for the battle to i3 or i5 , its necessary to buy a cpu in 45w or 65w, for O.C. him
it's exist only 2 models

a8-7600
a10-7800

but this 2 models , less frequency when use the igp.....

so what do you think ?

You need a lot of stuff for 500 euros....

I would suggest:
Please keep in mind I am in the US and just guessing on euro prices....

A10-7850k (around 120 euros?)
16GB (2x8) DDR3 2400 RAM kit (around 100 euros I would guess?)
A quality 500w PSU (around 60 euros?)
Samsung 850 EVO 250gb SSD (100 euros)
NZXT S340 Case (60 euros???)
1TB HDD (around 50 euros)

Slap that together, and call it a day!

Bonsoir JohnDu. It would be good if you told what things you want to do with that computer. So that people can help you. Do you want to game? Do you want to do photoshop? Video encoding? Just listen to music and surf? What?
