Modded Microsoft Intellimouse 1.1/1.1a 500Hz - Page 2

You could always switch to a higher sensitivity so 125hz is usable. thumb.gif

Edit: Also everyone should cast votes here, though whether it will do any good is doubtful.

Well yeah, 125 is usable, my brother (and I since I love the game) used to play CS 1.3/1.5 with a IMO 1.1 on 3 sensitivity. smile.gif

Although now that you can get higher malfunction speeds with mice like the Zowie FK (my current main mouse since my Rival seems to spaz out which a friend told me is a common problem apparently), I went lower and lower over the years and stuck with 0.85 with the 450(real 470) setting in CSGO.

But honestly, if Microsoft could get into the gaming niche properly and maybe add a 800 CPI setting along with a higher malfunction speed and don't **** the sensor performance, better materials and the same shape, people would cream all over about this. Stuff like CS is getting bigger and bigger and lots of people buy mice because xyz pro uses it.

Would there be ANY way to engineer an adapter that would plug into the mouse? Like a USB stick that your mouse plugs into, that would force the mouse to be 500hz.

In reality the mouse can force the frequency it wants, the obvious issue would be the adapter adding latency.

Or is this impossible?

This won't work because mouse will still be running at 125hz inside. It's a driver issue. Plus extra junk in between will most likely degrade performance and those "feelers" will complain again. Sign a driver for $$$ and play.

If someone is good at programming they can try to take the driver from the fatality program that comes with my motherboard and make it useable for everyone.
