And don't forget to grab the Intel Management Engine update as well as Asmedia USB3.1 update from ASUS. Lazy as ASUS they finally updated the driver after one year.tongue.gif

Here is the latest Intel Chipset INF driver for ALL chipsets, including X99. Bad thing is you need to manually update one device at a time LatestIntelChipsetDeviceINFFilesv10.1.x.xxWHQL.zip 418k .zip file tongue.gif

I did the bios update on Friday night, and ran through a series of stress testing and re-dialing in my overclock. I was able to overclock higher and give more volts without the temps getting out of control, so I'm kinda surprised by that. I also saw a pretty notable increase in memory bandwidth in the neighborhood of 14% on read and copy.

Pre update:

Post update:

I have to wonder if the microcode update improved FIVR performance or something, I can't come up with a better explanation for my new-found temperature headroom as the cooler hasn't been touched/reseated and my ambients are the same as previous testing.

Note: I know I'm not a Sabertooth owner, but this is the only place I've seen discussion about this for the asus X99 3301 update.

Weird issue, on windows 10 and randomly I noticed that it's not showing the correct amount of ram, I currently have 4 8 gig sticks of corsair vengence 2666, and it shows all of it in bios, but in windows 10 im only seeing 27.9gb? Anyone know why this would be?
