.

Yeah through all the prepurchase research I read that and stuck with the 3000MHz.

Howdy fellow sabertooth owners!

After having to return the classified x99 I also purchased I almost had to return this baby, was not recognizing 3 of the 4 memory channels, latest bios update solved the issue apparently.

Got a question for you folks, HWinfo is giving me (Hopefully ) 2 sensor temperature errors, or bad readings. Temp 3 and temp 5 seem to be off. Anyone else here having the same issue?

Also, my vcorefin seems to be stuck at a high voltage, how does one adjust this?

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

That is an error in HwInfo, I have those temp sensors (2-5) disabled and hidden because the values appear to be erroneous.

Thanks a bunch, I figured as much, but wanted to make sure lol.

Cheers!

New 3402 BIOS is out. Any brave souls here? My system is so perfectly stable right now I just don;t dare to risk it anymore.tongue.gif

I think I need to RMA my Sabertooth X99, keep getting BSODs if page file is enabled and my 32GB RAM has issues with it, drops channels, apps crash. And I've been OCing X99 motherboards a few years, tried raising voltages etc. same issues. I think it may have a faulty channel of RAM, memory management BSODs and such. Same RAM sets and settings in an X99-A II, zero problems. Even had the page file BSODs with my 128GB though it never dropped channels. Both sets work just fine in my X99-A II. frown.gif

I really like the Sabertooth but after RMAing it I may sell the replacement, just because the PCI-E_4 slot maxes out at 2X and I'm wanting to run two video cards, PCI-E SSD in x4 slot and an 960 Pro M.2 as well. I know I'd have to disable the USB 3.1 on the X99-A II but to be honest it's not really much faster than the USB 3.0. redface.gif

I'm pretty sure the X99-A II can actually accomplish that, I don't use much storage space and my 1.2TB Intel 750 would be fine as a storage drive using 960 Pro for O/S and apps. biggrin.gif

Looks fine.
Give me a day to test it out with a fully stable setting from 3302. thumb.gif Memoryperformance may have increased a bit. Tiny bit from 3302.

EDIT:

Still stable.

RAM 2666 12-12-12-28-1T
CORE 4.2
CACHE - 4.0

Note of the increased GSAT Bandwidth from 3302
