I've bought Cryorig R1 Ultimate and X99 Sabertooth in October 2015.

However some people says that cooler is not compatible with sabertooth.

Besides I didn't see in installation guide recommends for installing on LGA 2011-3.

Anybody knows how install it to mainboard? Is Installation guide for LGA 2011 is good for LGA 2011-3? Or not?

Could anybody send me some screens of installation?

I never used one so cannot help you with pictures I've only used the noctua DH14 with the 2011-v3 adapter they have.

The install should be the same as for lga 2011. I assume they have that illustrated in the manual? As long as the heatsink physically clears the RAM and the vrm heatsinks then I don't see why it would not work.

How do you guys have your fan speeds set up? I was doing some stress testing and realized half of my fans were only at half speed even when the CPU was at 80c. I would like to be able to ramp the fans up if the CPU goes up, but also if the GPU is getting too hot. I can't seem to figure out a way to do both on the same fan.

Setting CPU and GPU to 50% actually reduces the fan speed vs setting it 100% CPU. I imagine if my GPU was getting super hot and the CPU wasn't doing much work, it would do the same vs setting it to 100% GPU.

Yeah seriously although I am moving more toward heavy duty Velcro fitting and a noctua fan. Underneath the armour the m2 drive throttles when benching. Of course I could just leave it off, which I'd done since I got the drive.. But I've decided that the drive still needs some sort of active cooling.

I'm waiting for this to drop. I think I'd feel bad covering that beauty with a fan, lol.

Well its not so much as covering it, but rather using the little chamber for the M2 under the armour to shotgun air in there to keep it cool. Handy little feature if it works... When I had the temperature probe on the ssd and it barely broke 60 deg under load, but using software to read the drive it was actually reading 72.

After days of testing i came out that it was ram problem. G.SKill modules cannot be stable at 2800mhz only with 1.2v .
So i didn't low it down. Stayed at 1.35v ram vol , and extreme profile at memory in teaker (for full phase current)
i will edit this post when i return home with the actual corrections to voltage that made my dimms stable .

Now after all these days i didn't have any problems and all 16gb of ram was appearing ok. (CPU at xmp oc 3.7ghz 1.20v)

Thnx for the help everyone.

EDIT:
Well i am unlucky today after this post i turned on the pc and BANG one stick was missing again 12gb xaxaxaxa tragic.... went to bios lost A1 dimm.
Well my settings that lasted so many days till today was.

CPU SVID SUPPORT (DISABLED)
Dram voltage (CHA,CHB) from 1.20v ---> 1.35v
Dram voltage (CHC,CHD) from 1.20v ---> 1.35v
VCCIO CPU from 1.05v ---> 1.10v
VCCIO PCH from 1.05v ---> 1.10v
VTTDDR voltage (CHA,CHB) from 0.600v ---> 0.650v
VTTDDR voltage (CHC,CHD) from 0.600v ---> 0.650v

I noticed that yesterday (before last shut down ) i enabled at Ai suite 3 the DIGI+ option the Active Frequency Mode .
I'm suspicious that maybe this causing some problem because today after i started the PC and found again one stick missing this option was set at default DISABLED so its a buggy software or enabling Active frequency at Ai Suite 3?????

Well i'm 80% sure that its the RAM that causing this problem. And because i dont have time to spent with RMA procedure i will continue work like that (correcting things from BIOS every time i see 12gb of ram) till i buy another QUAD channel from Kingston. (i will rma tha G.SKill sticks then)

P.S. The temporary solution to this is that after a stick is missing (randomly) is to go to bios and alter the memory voltage 0.05v up or down doesnt matter or reseting the XMP profile . After saving this settings and make reboot the Quad channel working ok.

AISuite III is buggy. Set all options in BIOS if possible.

I feel so glad that I dont have any problem running my ADATA 32GB set at 2800. It was a kit that went on sale in April. For less than 300 bucks it was a steal for me. I purchased the RAM kit first and MoBo later. So lucky that I dont have any problem. I always used GSKill memory for both my old PC and my current laptop. Never had problem with them,

I just tried setting my G.Skill Ripjaws 2666 memory to XMP and it will not boot. I get 1 long beep and 3 short beeps. I even set the motherboard to defaults, rebooted, then set XMP and it refused to boot (I have to reset CMOS to even get to the BIOS).

Does anyone have any tips for this? I've never even tried using XMP before. I just want to reach the highest memory speed I get at a 100 CPU strap.
