How much IPS glow is normal? (Dell U2715H owners please take a look)

I got the MX27AQ 3 weeks ago. I love the colors but it has pretty noticeable IPS glow (or is it bleed?).
Be that as it may or not be that, IDK whether I should return it.

Don't worry about the general shade of black, it's just my camera that pictures it like that, it's just normal black color. Look only at the glow/bleed levels. My phone camera sucks so no better quality available ATM.

The "thing" it the bottom left corner isn't that noticeable in real use, it looks much worse in the picture. Seeing this with my own eyes it still appears black (just a bit brighter) so it doesn't bother me at all TBH. It's the other parts that I'm concerned about.

I have same in my Dell U2713HM. I can notice it only during scene changes in the movies. I wouldnt say its really that bad.

I think that is pretty normal for the LG panel it uses. You could take a gamble and exchange it but you may end up with a worse one or bad pixels. If you ordered from a place that lets you send the original back after you have the new one like Amazon there wouldn't be much risk and you could compare the two in every way possible.

you mention the LG panel, what other monitors use the same ? Cause it's hard to find any mx27aq users here, it's both quite new and maybe still unpopular.

It is meant to be the LG ML270WQ4 which is used in the Dell U2715H.

The glow/bleed-I don't really understand the difference- is a little more noticeable than the photo suggests. Nevertheless, outside of a few seconds in GTA V during the underwater submersible heist mission, when I thought I noticed it, I only see it when my screen saver comes on.

tbh seems a lot like what I see on my display, the picture I posted is just terrible. Good point, thanks for contributing.
