Stable with afterburner, whats next?

Hello there.

Im new here, and quite new to overclocking! Very exciting! biggrin.gif

I have my GTX980 running on water, and for the last days i have tried overclocking it. I get a stable OC, by adding 12mV, power limit +10%. At this point i can run the gpu clock at 1437mhz (1538mhz boost) and the memory at 1953mhz.

I would like to flash this to the bios, so i don't have to run msi afterburner? But is this possible? Has been testet with furmark for hours, valley benchmark for hours, AND both running on each 2560x1440 display for hours. Still stable when running GTA5, and GTA5 benchmark test.

How do i do this? I cant seem to find the right fields in maxwell bios editor, and i really can't find any "tutorials". I have read the thread about maxwell bios editor and nvflash.

Thanks..

Welcome to OCN!

Here's a great thread to learn more http://www.overclock.net/t/1467851/nvidia-maxwell-kepler-bios-editing-thread-gtx-2xx-to-9xx-now-supported

You'll need to have at least five reps for him to help you, but a good thread to subscribe to.

Thank you for replying! biggrin.gif

So i just post my data from afterburner in that thread, and he will hopefully create a bios for me, i need to flash with nvflash? biggrin.gif

Sounds like a nice community!

It's running burnintest right now.. Tried with stock OC first, and can't get it to pass when running both CPU, RAM, GPU, 3D and 2D simultaneously? Is this normally. When running only GPU, 3D and 2D there is no problem, both with the stock and the OC..
