Hmm, I'm hesitating to buy access. I assume progress will be wiped after CB, I don't want to unlock the tanks again. On the other hand, game looks fun anyway. WoT but better in nearly every way except amount of content.

The game is literally unplayable for me, so I'll be waiting until they fix whatever it is that is causing this (first 30 seconds are good, then drops into the teens and stays there until I restart the game):

unpark your cores and use this http://www.overclock.net/t/1364200/crysis-3-20-30-framerate-and-performance-boost-cpu-limited-users-only/80

Cores don't park in 8.1 and I'm not CPU limited, it just simply doesn't want to use the GPU. Many many MANY people are having the same issue on all different types of machines.

Yeah, I carefully monitored it and I'm not even using 20% CPU spread across all 6 cores. This is a separate problem I think and it seems to be mostly Maxwell chips that are having a problem. My frame rate does not change from max settings to as low as it will go.

My experience with my AMD rig has the game using 1 core of the 6300 at pretty well 100% constant and around 90% constant usage on the R9 290 giving me an avg of 47 fps on high settings at 1080p with most maps. Some maps the avg fps is a bit less. The worst thing is the stupid mouse acceleration they have on when in optics mode.

Hey everyone,

I just wanted to clarify what is going on since I feel it could be confusing due to some terminology overlap.

Buying the founders pack guarantees access to the CBT phase of development. That is what you are participating in right now. It's being called 'Early Access', but it is essentially our Closed Beta Test. If you do not buy a founders pack, you can still get into CBT either by winning various contests hosted on the forums or other related sites, or just by enrolling into the Beta on aw.my.com and waiting for your invite to eventually come. I imagine the closer we get to launch, the more will be let into CBT from that signup list, but I don't have control over that myself.

At the end of CBT, all progress will be wiped.

Buying the founders pack ALSO guarantees you a head start at launch. There will be a window of time between CBT and launch where only players who purchased founders packs will be able to play. Any progress made during this window of time will NOT be wiped and will stay with you forever.

I hope that helps clarify things for everyone. You are getting two 'early accesses' with the Founders Pack purchase. We are currently in the first one.

Imo, if you like WoT it's definitely worth buying early access. So far it looks like it'll be a greatly improved version of WoT. Enjoying it so far.

This was pretty sweet for early access until I realized you had to PAY to get access. How dumb is that? Pay to test out a broken beta game? I thought that's kinda low but thats just me. And I'm strapped for cash...

?? There are like hundred of early access games on steam that require you to pay, some even more then the release price. I remember planetary annihilation costing 80€ for EA.

And the bonuses you get for buying AW EA are probably better value than what you can buy when it's released.
