Without further ado lets start with the cheapest. The prices mentioned are inclusive of tax I might add so there will be a 20-30 dollar variance depending on where you are in the world. The GEFORCE GTX980TI REFERENCE card is going to be shipping for $799. The GEFORCE GTX980TI with the EVGA ACX2.0+ cooling solution will be shipping for the same price so the reference card will probably be limited to OEMs only. Then we have the overclocked EVGA GEFORCE GTX980TI SC (SuperClocked) edition with ACX2.0+ cooling solution. This particular variant will retail for $810.

Not too bad seeing the performance is (apparently) close to/equal a Titan X.

from $499(gtx 580 and b4) to $649(Gtx780) to $699(gtx780Ti) to $799(gtx980Ti)

Might as well spend the extra 200$ for the 12gb and a few more cuda cores at this point...

This should be priced at 700$ max IMO just like the 780ti. Let's hope AMD releases a kick ass card and Nvidia stops with this ridiculous pricing. This is getting out of hand.

Pfff try $1500-1600 in NZ. It's insanity.

Definitely hoping AMD will spark a decent price war so both companies bring each other down to sane prices.

We shall cuddle our 780's together while we wait

I was going to bite if it was £600 or less; it doesn't seem that way so nVidia have lost another potential customer, gg nVidia.

Can I join in? I've got some 680's here.

Regardless, I'm definitely waiting for AMD's showing. I'm interested in the 390X, or whatever the HBM card will be called, to see if that insane memory bandwidth will actually have a significant impact on performance. New tech's always interesting to see. Regardless, I hope that card's ready to bring it because this 980Ti's no pushover, and I need that kind of performance to make upgrading from dual 680's worthwhile. But I'm not exactly eager to drop $800 for it. My next card's either going to be a 980Ti or AMD's new HBM card, but the outcome will be decided by benchmarks and price point.

That's insane i paid around $650 for my 980 Matrix so let me guess a 980 Ti matrix will be $900 lol Nvidia is on drugs but people will still pay these prices.

Like mentioned at that rate get a Titan, the only advantage here is aftermarket cooling and pcb's.
