They're already out.... of stock. But a Hybrid KingPin? That's crazy man.

Yeah that's what I meant, any possibility of a KingPin edition with the Hybrid cooler. And if not which would I be better off going with? a KingPin 980 ti or the standard 980 Ti Hybrid and just clock and much as I can? I really like the Hybrid cooler and the lower temps, but I also want the highest clocks possible thus my interest in the KingPin as well.

It's good to see your feedback guys, both positive and negative.
So really What are KP cards all about?
Well KP cards are 100% an enthusiast targeted card that is designed to do things OUT OF THE BOX (meaning no physical modification) that NO OTHER card can do. These KP designs are completely based on our LAB testing with heavily modded reference cards of every generation. We improve the vrm design, memory layout, and also pack it with extra features such as RGB LED, pcb heater, single slot capable, dips/jumpers, and a unique cooler. The kp card is essentially a HEAVILY modded reference card with an epower on it smile.gif
Also the bin of the gpu is what determines how well a card clocks on air/water usually, you wont see huge difference between different cards with voltage control (classy/kp/strix/hof/etc) at these temps. The biggest differences you will see amongst these cards is how many mods/reworks a card needs to fly on LN2. All three KP cards need NONE, only XOC bios.

There will be robust bios support on 980 TI KP edition similar to 780 TI KP, you have my word on that. We (EVGA) are the only company right now that can XOC TI gpu, because I put in a lot of work on bios this past month for this latest version of maxwell.

I have the XOC bios ready for KPE 980ti already, and it works very very well. We did 2100mhz on 980Ti gpu yesterday live at computex. Meanwhile EVERY OTHER manufacturer is still overclocking titan-X at computex even though Ti is already released and just as fast wink.gif. Why? Because not one single manufacturer other than evga has figured out how to extreme overclock 980ti yet due to a lot of things NV changed in their recent drivers. I was able to confirm it now after visiting with all my friends at the different vga vendors computex. Sadly 980 was delayed and came a bit late and ran up against titan-X. KP 980ti on the other hand has been done for awhile and it will be available quite soon and like I said bios is already set smile.gif. Timing really makes a huge difference guys...

Not only will there be better bios support on kp 980ti, but also previous kp cards as well. I'm currently working 980/780ti to get them working the best on latest geforce drivers.

EVBOT is a product that should go hand in hand with these cards, but its been EOL for awhile now waiting for a much needed update. so we designed a much more advanced evbot control and put it into the new keyboard. Now you will have the proper tool I would highly recommend to get this if you are a fan of these cards as it will allow you to get the MOST out of your kp gpu and let it run to its full potential. It also helps with voltage control issues on air/water not just for XOC. New "keybot" as we call it internally lol should be available around same time as card release to retail. It's backwards compatible with older products and will have one master fw flash that can control EVERYTHING, no need for different fw flash for different products anymore.

Nice to see you reply smile.gif
What decides a buy or not for me is markup over reference and waterblock availability. I have to agree with the others who said the BIOS support for the 980 was lacking, and it is good that you seem to have addressed that thumb.gif

It would be nice if you supported 980 classified BIOS instead of ditching them...there is like nothing available for 3988KR all the 2988KR bIOS make the newer part not boot or crash.

Will definitely buy the Z10 Keyboard when its available. Any ETA and price like in how many months should we be expecting this keyboard to make their way to the retailers?

Holding you to your word. If you do support the 980kpe well as you promised, then the 980TI kpe will be on my list of purchases this year.

Well see what happens with 980 kpe. I hope a water bios is released that lets voltage do something other than no voltage or insans amounts just to break mid 1500's. Gradual increase would be nice.
