How can I wire my own cables?

Thread Starter
I want to wire my own cables for my Corsair 1200w. Now I have soldering skills and everything, but how exactly do I wire the PCI-e, I want to use red wire, etc. Do i need crimping tools and stuff? Do I use the ports that I already have or? Totally new to this.

Thanks
Sig Rig
