I did. The price was great overall because I plan to make one for my G303, EC1-A, G100s, and possibly my IE 3.0. They aren't bad. They fit pretty tight in the paracord, so I would "soften up" the paracord by doing a caterpillar motion all the way up the cable when the wires were on both ends. The result was a little more space for the wires, which resulted in more flexibility. I want to find a tool to use to easily thread the wires through, though (It took forever and I plan to make a lot of them). It would help a lot in terms of time.

It's good. I don't regret it at all and I do like it more than the zowie cable by a little bit. I guess it comes down to what mouse you want to put it in. A G303 or other thick cabled mouse like a wmo? No question, it will be worth it every day of the week. Zowie mice? Depends on the user, but zowie cables are good, this is just better (for me).

I thought about picking up a used g303 for this purpose but recently been thinking about replacing the cable on the zowie ec2a (my current mouse). Sometimes the rubber cable rubs me the wrong way. I have everything except the gauge wires that goes inside the mouse itself.

I see also no real benefit in using thinner paracord. For the flexibility it is better to have more room for the inner cables I think.

Try it by your own.

I completely agree with this. I ordered two colors from CeeSA (the red, white & blue tricolor and the grey and white). The red, white and blue tricolor is my favorite because it is thicker and slightly more flexible. Both are great, but I decided to use the larger one on my Pro after playing around with both.

Has anyone made a paracord for the modular USB interface of wireless Logitech mice? biggrin.gif

Thread Starter

I thout it was a joke. G900 is Micro USB standard iirc.

So you have to build the cable with a Micro USB plug instead of a JST 2.0, that's all.

Ah. I don't have one so I didn't know it was micro USB

Might get a G403 wireless and make one then biggrin.gif
