Yeah, I was good with Ultra Violence. Anything more is really a ****show.
I've made it through the first four levels on nightmare difficulty with relative ease so far, but I'm most likely gonna get stuck on VEGA Central Processing, as it was the most frustrating level for me on ultra-violence.

Just got thru level 3

I can usually get thru the first level. I've gotten thru the second level exactly once and have made a copy of my game save at that point because it would take me who knows many attempts to get that far again w/o dying. I've tried to get thru the third level about 10 times now. On my last attempt i thought i was going to make it. I got all the way to the very end but then ran out of assault rifle ammo, then pulse rifle ammo, and then shotgun ammo... all that was remaining were the two hell knights. i got trapped under a stairs while back pedaling and desperate for ammo... then a damn hell knight smashed me into the floor and my torment was over... arghhh

Got it, survived level 3! Game is saved all ready for me to try (and try again as needed) to beat level 4.

Just got an LG OLED 4k screen last night. Getting frequent frame drops to 30fps on medium quality with a 1080FTW, stock clock. Is this normal? Very choppy, have not had a chance to try other games yet

It doesn't sound/look normal to me...

Can you update your sig rig so I can maybe narrow down the issue?

i7 2600K @ 4.5ghz
16gb DDR4
GTX 1080 FTW
Sandisk Extreme Pro SSD 6gb/s 480GB

Screen is the LG 55C6P. Have had the 1080 for about 2 weeks. I was running at >120hz on my 1080 monitor, which you'd expect.

In that case it sounds more like a software issue than a hardware issue. Did you uninstall your previous nvidia drivers with Display Driver Uninstaller? Can you recall making any significant changes to software, such as disabling/enabling a feature or installing a program? Have you made sure no settings are forced in the nvidia control that would affect performance? Have you tried running it on Windows 10 (not upgrading, just like a dual boot or something)?

Change is getting the LG screen yesterday, running 4k vs 1080p. I'm also running vsync now which i was not before. I locked frames at 59fps. Using windows 10, sig is stale. i will try fully uninstalling and reinstalling drivers when i get home
