Fixed fr mode isn't necessary either, can't even feel the framerate changing.
if you could fix it at an arbitrary framerate of your choosing that would be great, but I doubt it

But can you still have a functional scroll wheel with his method? If not then I'm curious if what you've come up with can allow for that functionality.

I played around with putting the G502 sensor/internals into a IE3.0 but wasn't able to get the scroll wheel to work although that wasn't the real issue. The real issue was left and right click were mirrored most likely caused by poor solder work on my part. I haven't gone back to fix it because I don't currently have the space to work on it. Later when I can I'd like to play around with this sensor again so that is why I asked.

Yea, I know how you feel about 3366, I respect it but 3366 mice and mlt04 mice have completely different shapes and therefore I find it hard to put stock on your feels there.

Read how the Avago/Pixart sensor works. My opinion is irrelevant.

Different wheel encoder no? I haven't seen this done with the kind the 502 uses. If it's possible by simply soldering the appropriate wires let me know the configuration because I wasn't able to figure it out with a multimeter.
