@Furiosus
iirc sensor communication only takes like 250us for each motion burst read

for timing... take a look at the datasheet

You guys didn't finish this project yet?

I have been waiting to see what you guys can do before I try to get a 3366 in an IntelliMouse Optical. I'm not sure if I should get a G502 PCB or a G303 PCB.

well my 3366-in-g100s-shell project will probably never finish as i'm waiting for this year's new mice. as for figuring out the secrets of the 3366 sensor, well i think i've figured out as much as i possibly can given that i don't work for logitech or pixart

It's a pity you won't finish the 3366 in 100s, but given the amount of effort it doesn't really make sense if there is something decent coming out in the future.

That said, I finally crammed everything in there and finished the work using resin. I could still paint the mouse and maybe will in the future but for now it's fine. Weight is something like 90-95 grams but that could be brought down further. I need to get some solid core wires too which are a little nicer for the internals, and it would also be good to connect the buttons with detachable connectors but for now this is fine.

Here's the base now, I used Milliput to fill it up & a rotary tool to grind of excess:

I filled in the right side buttons too because there's no need for them, along with sanding down everything. The plan plastic finish is far superior to the velvety feel of the original coating.

@ qsxcv Learnt a hell of a lot from this and I genuinely appreciate all the help and and effort you put into sharing your work! When VR headsets come out and applications start using stuff like the Oculus Touch I might try and make a 3D controller of some kind.

well good to see that at least someone made a mouse out of all this

depending on what happens this year from logitech and other companies, maybe i'll try screwing around with am010 next.

hello everybody, I have a problem looking forward to the assistance of technical support. I've done a mouse edit, put pcb IE1.1A into the shell of kinzu, the most difficult issue is the restructuring of the scroll wheel using infrared leds Mouse Scroll Wheel Encoder to switch. I've checked and remove the infrared LED and the corresponding solder 3 foot switch at the location of the LED. It worked very well, but there is something wrong has happened, the game was unusually pointers, shaking and vibrating slightly pink center. Surely perform his transformation has affected it, because then I try to uninstall Wheel Encoder marketing everything becomes normal. To reconstruct the structure of IE on kinzu roll is really difficult, so I chose to convert to ensure aesthetics. Prepare yourself to make a modified, take the pcb G502 to rival 100, I fear that to happen should seek your assistance to address thoroughly. Are there any current at the correct outcomes of the ir leds Mouse Scroll Wheel Encoder through to its full compatibility. Sorry for bad my english with the help of google translate

imo and g502 use optical encoders
kinzu uses a mechanical encoder

you can't mix and match those
