Also did you buy a whole bend kit or just the heat gun and then get creative?

Here is a link I might not have purchased the 1000mm (but the tubes were long)

I have no bend kit. I just use freehand or in this build, the corner of the Kitchen counter for a 90 degree angle.

I want to use free hand too I feel some of that stuff in a kit is unnecessary ...What did you use for cuts?

Why cant I find the fittings you used for this tubing? Could you link please if you dont mind

Like with that tube dont I want 10x12 mm fittings?

I used C48s and C47 Bitspower

I used just a hand saw for the Cuts of the Arylic. And a piece of sandpaper to champher the edges.

I can tell you from experience that the DCP is a loud pump!! Good price for set up I know..

Which pump would you recommend? trying to buy something good so !

Alternatives:

DCCs are good pumps, but require external cooling (heatsink) and cause high frequency vibration / noise which some people dont mind and others notice and find problematic. They are very effective pumps, particularly at low to mid flow rates and able to support high static pressures. They are compact, but less so considering the heatsink which you need really.

D5 based pumps are also very good. Initially larger than the DCCs but not much larger once you have a heatsink on the DCC. Does not require a heatsink as it cools itself from the water in your loop, so loop cooling suffers a bit from that. More effective than DCC at high flow rates (but less important for most PC loops), but produces lower static pressure at lower / more realistic flow rates inside PCs. So why do people choose this over the DCC? Less noticeable noise in general.

Hope this helps you.

SimonOcean makes a lot of good points I would only disagree with him on one point I have found that at 50 to 60% power the DDC is quieter. I have used both and base my decision on space and how it will look to me in the particular build. D5 does give more flow but only if you have small restriction.

Some people swear by D5 and some people by DDC really is a personal choice and can not go wrong with either one!? thumb.gif

Here is a 90 Dual Threaded. I have a C47 on Each Side. I use a DDC pump due to the space and love Using Acrylic tops So I can polish them. DDC VS D5 is another discussion.

DDC isn't loud. I have mine at 100% and I have to put my ear all of the way inside the case to hear the pump. Just saying. I did it last night. rolleyes.gif
