B740 advertises a few sell points over the 640 from what I read:
(1) Dust resistant design
(2) (uncertain) Something related to the keycap or switch that makes it slightly lighter
(3) (may not be exclusive) laser etched keycaps

I take extreme care of my keyboards and other equipment, so not really a concern unless someone breaks into my room. Then I may use it lol.

If i'm going to be paying a premium price, i'd like to get a premium product(or one that feels like it). Both the MX 6.0 and B640 have 1ms response.

Well that is interesting. How is it 5ms faster if they are both reported at 1ms? Unless I missed something about -5ms?

Looks like they've adopted the technique of putting covers over the switches for added protection. There are some other companies that have done this, but the idea has never really become mainstream...which IMO is kind of a shame, because it's nice to be able to have your coffee/soda/soup/whatever with you at the computer if you want and not have to worry too much.

Yeah. Decided to test one out, feels like a keyboard.

1.2mm actuation distance / 35g actuation force - feels like reds. Had to add orings for it to be to my liking.

The boards got some heft to it. It inputs keys when I press them - itzz geewwdd.
