*Looked for one, didn't find it so I thought I'd start it.
Batman: Arkham Knight is an upcoming action-adventure video game being developed by Rocksteady Studios and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One video game consoles, and Microsoft Windows. Based on the DC Comics superhero Batman, it is the successor to Warner Bros. Games Montréal's 2013 video game Batman: Arkham Origins, and the fourth main installment in the Batman: Arkham series. Arkham Knight is expected to be released worldwide on June 23, 2015.
Written by Sefton Hill, Martin Lancaster, and Paul Crocker, Arkham Knight is based on the franchise's long-running comic book mythos. Set one year after the events of 2011's Batman: Arkham City, the game's main storyline follows Batman as he confronts the Scarecrow, who has launched an attack on Gotham City, causing a city-wide evacuation. Aided by the mysterious Arkham Knight, an original character created for the game, the Scarecrow unites Batman's greatest foes in a plot to finally kill the Dark Knight. The game is presented from the third-person perspective with a primary focus on Batman's combat and stealth abilities, detective skills, and gadgets that can be used in both combat and exploration. Arkham Knight also introduces the Batmobile as a playable vehicle, which can be used for transportation or combat. The game expands Batman's arsenal of gadgets and combat attacks and offers a more open world structure, allowing the player to complete side missions away from the primary storyline.

Thanks for the headsup. Can't wait to Be The Knight. I wonder if the Steam preload includes the day 1 patch. Prbly not. Bummed we still gotta wait till 23rd to download another 3.5Gb
I can just imagine everybody trying to download a 3.5Gb patch on the first day. Will cause some bottlenecks. Oh just saw you have 580 GTX for physics. How does that work for you?
lol Actually, the difference in games was minimal, but I don't have it installed right now. If Arkham doesn't play as well as I think it should, I'll put it back in. Never really bothered to benchmark it.

wow you mean your 980 can handle Gimmiworks and ultra at the same time? So that 580 is just sitting their all lonely and sad? How much you will to sell it for?
The 980 with a good oc 1520/8000-ish I can play most games maxed or maybe a few options turned down from ultra fairly well @60 fps with very little to no noticeable difference in image quality. Hm... GTAV... Dying Light and... whatever... dips to the high 40's. Playable and acceptable to me.
I dunno, never really thought about selling it. $100 shipped? I dunno. It's the 3G model. Why would you want it... you have a 290. It should play just fine... adjust your tessellation in CCC like people did for W3 if possible.

as much as I hate the fact that I can't do hybrid rigs easily thanks to Nvidia's draconian policies, I do appreciate the physics works in gimmworks, enough for me to consider getting a card like a 580 and pairing it with my old 470 and seeing how things work. I'm more of a total package person, which means physics even if i tone down the graphics a bit. But I'm gonna wait and see how Knight runs and what I can do with gimmworks in it. Somehow feel like CDPR left a backdoor for us, not sure if it would work with another game

CDPR didn't leave a back door, it's an option to specify custom settings in Catalyst Control Center, isn't it? That has nothing to do with CDPR unless I'm mistaken about that specific setting.
I'll probably buy this game tomorrow. I don't really care about the pre-order bonuses. I'd rather send a message by not pre-ordering that this practice isn't okay. Too much of a Batman fanatic to not buy this on principal alone though.
As for the game, it looks so good. I know who the Arkham Knight is and it's hilarious because
The Red Hood's design is very similar to Arkham Knight's design and it's a good follow up considering Jason was killed by The Joker. It's looking to be a Arhkam universe adaptation of the Under The Red Hood story. Which is by far my favorite Batman storyline.
I was starting to panic, because I preordered it over a month ago and my key didn't get sent until yesterday. But I got it, reg'd it with Steam and it accepted it just fine. It's downloaded and almost ready to play. lol
I'm not sure what the deal with the Red Hood stuff, but the story looks interesting from the previews.

exact same boat. Immediately I got the key from CD Keys I went straight to Steam before they had any chance to revoke it lol. Normally wouldn't buy it especially with season pass seeing how bad I was burnt with Bioshock Infinite but Premium edition at 35 bucks was too good to refuse. Mine got preloaded in 5 hours. oh well. Not sure when the game become officially avialable. I know it releases June 23 right?

I'm not sure if its doable in everygame though. Maybe hairworks but thats about it. I did try Physx in arkham city by setting a profile for it in CC, still got the giant performance hit, even worse than Witcher 3.
Tried going through cdkeys, after filling out my payment info I get no confirmation email, no screen confirming my purchase, just some weird secure code screen for mastercard and no option to bypass it.
If they had a reasonable payment system I would have bought the game from them, I even looked for support to contact and there is none.
EDIT: it's not technically CDKey's fault, it's their partner Skrill's fault. I'm not sure why they'd be partnered up with a company like that...

Nope it runs great on my 980 at 1440p, little to no fps drops. The only time you will see fps drops is when you are on the batmobile and use the speed boost moving really quickly through the city. The game looks incredible, sweet draw distance and visuals.
It uses 3.8-4gb at 1440p aswell btw, it's not actualy using it. It's caching it, not a single crash for me so far. To remove the lock on fps:
