Correct, I am running VSR 3200X1800 on a 1080p TV locked at 60 fps to keep temps down. I usually run on water but will not with these two cards, I may change my mind later. VSR is good way to simulate a higher resolution for a very low price, pretty sure a 32 inch 3200x1800 native monitor would cost more than $600 dollars.

With Freesync maybe? I got my Acer 28 inch 4K for $355 almost two years ago a few days before Cyber Monday I recall.

Dear All:
I just mounted a g10 kraken with a H90 cooler on my XFX 390X. I had to file down the vrm heatsink and remount it to the pcb, no problems.

My max vrm temps are about 81 C. I cannot mount another larger fan to bracket.

Which offset in AB would tweak this a few degrees? Core voltage, power limit or aux volt decrease?

Any ideas I am at 60fps @4K.
81C on vrms is into the range where it hurts stability, but far from the range where its problematic. Still its a good argument against the aio i guess. My vrms approach 100C at stock voltage and mid 80s at my current 1131mV with the stock xfx cooler.

Lowering wattage, aka voltage, is the way to reduce it.

Have a similar case do you use high static pressure fans or high vol flow fans? I want to replace the front intake fans on my nzxt 440.
You don't want high-static-pressure fans for case fans. Moderate static pressure is okay.

I've got some phanteks XPs (pwm case fans) coming tomorrow...

Since february I'm with My xfx 390 black edition and I'm in love with it. After many Nvidia cards (kepler and Maxwell) I got an AMD and I'm pretty sure I will stay in team red for a long time.
390 is an amazing card (if you don't mind power consumption) it's really future proof and has a lot raw power.

Only one problem: On win 10 x64 I get low framerate and low performance on both Wolfenstein new order and wolfenstein old blood. On win 7 x64 they run well. Any help for me?

Thanks to everyone!

I guess it depends on definition of 'moderate' and 'high'. To me 'low' pressure fans are worthless; 'moderate' pressure is any fan good for coolers, cases and thin (normal) radiators; and 'high' pressure are fans like 32-38mm thick NIdec-servo and Delta high speed fans.

You may know this, but others might not.
We need to keep in mind how restrictive grills and filters actually are. For example a honeycomb back grill with 5mm holes is about as low restriction as any grill, and it blocks 20% of airflow area. Round hole mesh blocks 50-70% of it's area. Best grill is wire ring design. wink.gif

We also need to keep in mind how much lower the pressure rating is at lower fan speeds .. and that pressure ratings are the point at which the fan stops flowing air. A fan with a pressure rating of 1.40 mmH2O at 1250rpm drops to 0.69 mmH2O at 850rpm and 0.19 mm H2O at 450rpm. The same fan moves 79.4 cfm at 1250cfm free airflow (no resistance at all), drops to 49.7 cfm at 850rpm and is 27.3 cfm at 450rpm. Don't forget this is with no resistance at all !!
