Its really up to you. Graphics card are desgined to be capable of running hotter than many components safely and 75 is well within the limits of what the card can theoretically handle.

That said the cooler you can run a card the better and if you are into overclocking for more performace every little bit can help.

Personally im fine with the temps and performance i am getting Vs what i was before my custom settings. Everyone has their own tolerences for thermals, noise, and performance, and risk. You will have to decide for yourself whether its worth it.

I will caution you on replacing thermal pads with TIM...many times the pads are thickers and some types of tim can leak out and fail to make good contact over time with certain components and the heat sink. It's often better to replace poor pads with better pads if you can find them.

Good luck.

Son just purchased an 480 to replace our server gpu.

It a downgrade to his 970 on brief testing. My 390 X at 4k is better.

Will benchmark later.

Here is my Unigine Valley Extreme HD x8 AA 1080p
How is it the performance of MSI 390x with 1100mhz-6080mhz?

For anyone who cares, all of Stardock's games are on sale for the weekend...including the now de facto 2016 DX12 benchmark AoS for $13.00...a game i am actually interested in playing as much as using it for benchmarking. I'm not a huge RTS fan or player but the visuals have me captivated as much as any game since maybe Endless Legend which i love to death. Hoping for a similar experience...and if nothing else another tool in the toolbox for benching my rigs.

It's custom made by Liquid Extasy. It's brand new and not yet listed in the shop. The reason you haven't seen this block is because I got the first one.
