Holy crap! Never seen a game push my CPU as hard as Ashes of the Singularity does. I was getting highs of about 65'C during an hour or so long game session on my CPU with my current OC. May have to dial it back a hair. The Graphics card was also taxed actually pushing temps into the low 70's compared to the low 60's i see in every other game i play. Still, i'm pretty happy with my temps after my undervolting and custom fan curve.

Ran a quick benchmark in DX11 and DX12...there is a huge difference in performance as one would expect. Im still pushing over 40 FPS with High settings all around, and game feels and looks good. Pretty happy with it so far, other than it crippling my AIO. rolleyes.gif

You should try Rise of the Tomb Raider in DX12, the avg didnt jump too much for me but the min almost quadrupled.

Yeah i think my Avg jumped by 10 fps and my min jumped by like 30 fps. Ill have time today to do some proper benching and will post pics.

Ok, here is a quick bench test I did on both DX11 and DX12 for Ashes of the Singularity. I made a chart that is easy to read but will add the photos of the actual bench for proof of numbers. DX12 is looking very promising indeed for older CPU's, but i will say this...you really need to monitor your temps when playing DX12 games if you are Overclocking your CPU. DX12 pushes temps higher than i have ever seen in DX11 games. Much closer to what a true Stress test like P95 pushes over a long enough session.

Its so fun and beautiful just wish it was a tad longer. Cutscenes are ridiculous though i will admit. I get 60fps avg but im on ultrawide as well.

A Journey of Paste. Very messy. Lowered temps by 5C!

Anyone playing the BF1 open beta? How's it running for you guys? It seems to be pretty demanding.
running on a 290@1000-1575

locked flawless 60 with 1080p ultra ...

390@1110/1500 around 70 fps with lowest settings 4k, still looks pretty good.
