Right gotta figure out something the memory vrm is cool on hardly any copper .. 65C load so it doesn't take much at all to cool them.

Along with my BIOS I sent should fix it... try this BIOS actually knowing that is the issue we can knock VRM down 40 degrees celsius.

Fan speed is like this

30C @ 40%
50C @ 75%
60C @ 75%
75C Max @ 88% (Should throttle at 75C) May be loud in game but memory VRM won't overheat and this is DeLimited Bios. No Power Limit.

Ok I will flash with this bios. Actually its been a cooler day today and it hasn't revved yet. I will also open the top vent of the computer (which I normally keep closed because I am paranoid about rain getting in) and open the side panel of the computer which usually helps drop temps a bit anyway.

I flashed the bios with the last bios you recommended.

Here is the HWInfo screenshot after 1 hour or so of gaming and letting it cool.

It is a bit noisy when its idle because the fans are going fast but its tolerable.

If it doesn't accelerate like before over a number of days then I would say that your theory is almost certainly correct and I can just RMA this card and tell them where to look. They are obliged to fix or replace it.

The problem with fixing it myself under your guidance is that if some other problem were to come up which were not fixable, the warranty would be invalid and I could not return the card for a replacement thumb.gif hwinfonewbios.png 34k .png file

Cool. That 32C temp is those 3 chips just sitting there. Was that load? What game did you play? I can perfect it a bit more... I'm not sure if it's going to 1000Mhz core clock? Can you leave HWInfo open just minimize or when u open it go to settings set to start with windows and minimize instead of close... so u can refer to it over the long haul.. more accurate logging that way.

That was idle. It was after playing battlefield 1 multiplayer for one hour. I think it is going to to 1000MHz, it just wasnt under load at the time. I have left HWInfo running now

I ran the computer idle, did the heaven benchmark and then left it idle for a few minutes. Here is the HWInfo:

It didnt behave strange in that time.

@componentgirl90
Looks good. Here's let try and quiet it down a bit more and speed things up a bit.

Your quite welcome bud.. 1758mhz ram for benchmarks with errors and might not even work... 1270mhz ram for long gaming session maybe at 1250mhz core?

I might need to make a 1207mhz on 1270mhz memory as well or a 1207mhz on 1563mhz ram at 1000mv.. try them and lmk we will go from there. thumb.gif
