Looks like the MSI doesn't have support for full blocks. Thanks for the link.

So far this seems like a beast of a card for the $300-$330 price range. I was having some issues with nvidia drivers recognizing my 1440 p and 4K setup on this TV but it seems like I don't have this issue with the AMD drivers.

To be fair you do have a pretty big overclock.

I think I've about hit my limit 1140/1700 with +100mV core (did not increase Aux). I'm getting stable runs in Firestrike with a score ~11550. I could probably dial it back a bit for general gaming unless I really want to push it. I can max everything in Witcher 3, although I either need to turn hairworks off or set foliage to high to maintain a solid 60. Personally I keep hairworks on.

I am wondering something though, since I initially did not plan on gaming with this PC I went a bit budget on PSU and Mobo. PSU has been upgraded but I'm wondering if I could achieve any better numbers by upgrading the mobo. Currently I have the MSI Z97 PCMate but I was looking at maybe the MSI gaming. Could I expect better raw numbers? It will be a bit of work to rip my computer apart!

Bah why not just Crossfire 2 of these badboys! tongue.gif

Also curious at what difference there would be between using the beta driver 15.8 and the 15.7.1. I'm using the beta

What core & memory speeds you running? I am getting similar Firestrike scores http://www.3dmark.com/fs/6033745 with +35% on the power limit setting, core 1,125 (+ 10.8% on GPU clock settings in CCC), & memory 1,710. I'm just using Catalyst Control Center as well. Also the temps are a little higher than mine at a lower fan speed I'd keep any eye on it. I'm getting around 72C average with the OC & fans set to 65% while gaming. It could just be case differences or something simple like that so I wouldn't worry unless the temps get higher. I will say though having the fans at 65% on my XFX DD Core 390 is much more tolerable than 75%, they are fairly loud at that speed.

Maybe try similar settings to mine with CCC to see if you can get the temp & fan speed down a little. Afterburner did not play well with my card for some reason. I installed it then started up the Witcher 3 intending on using it just as a monitor for the time being so I could get a baseline of my rigs stock speeds. When I loaded into the game it was artifacting like crazy & I hadn't even OCed anything yet! So I ended up uninstalling Afterburner & problem solved, no more artifacting in the Witcher 3. Ever since then I have just used CCC to OC my card & have gotten good results too. thumb.gif

According to GPUZ my card is pulling 1.324V @ 63mv on VDDC during FireStrike bench. Where as without any OC it is 1.266V. Is this normal ?

It depends. Is that the max voltage? Because a voltage spike like that is fine, but if it's constant it's unusual. I doubt that's the constant voltage, as that would be very hard to cool on air.

Playing witcher 3 my VDDC is at constant 1.245v. temps are around 65 @ 50mv. should i worried aboit it ?

No, that's absolutely fine. As long as it's cool it's fine.

Is it spiking to 1.25~ or is it generally 1.245~ with some spikes above it (just want to know myself).

I have a open case holds for gaming at 62 max.
1100 or 1140mhz while one can say darn thats more it wont be in pure fps a big difference if any.
