Test it out anyways with average airflow and then high airflow or something and see how she does. I'm sure the build quality overall is decent, as it it with all 390s really.

Who better to bring you guys more info on other 390's than the originator of the club right? tongue.gif

I am wondering if the beefed up power circuitry will offer me anything in the over-100mv range if I can cool her down some.

I like the card cause it looks great, and it's a 2 slot solution..... so if some new noctua TIM, and some high flow fans keep her happy, she will have a twin certain by Christmas biggrin.gif

I'm just wondering what the pricing will be like, it seems we're already being primed with $650 - $700 flagship GPU pricing....and with the rumored huge performance boost for 16nm who knows how much higher AMD/Nvidia will think customers will be willing to pay for a flagship GPU.
Around this time next year should be interesting.

the 300 or 390 range of cards next year be better than fury/980ti this year is most likely.
so while the prices will continue to be high you get a whole lot more next year.

This is the best score I can achieve with no artifacts.

http://www.3dmark.com/3dm/8671734?

1200mhz gives small amounts of artifacts on the 3dmark, I would need voltage over +100, I don't really want to go above that though.

Also the PC R9 390 is 289.99 with rebate

What do you mean the 390 will be better next year?

Well I sent my r9 390 out for Rma today. I know the problems with my card are probably most likely driver related but what the hell let's see what gigabyte can tell me. I also was having the shutdown sleep problem with my card installed in my computer.

Irrelevant, it's a CPU bound game.
