To make it clear: The main "issue" is that he sees a Graph which is behaving a bit unorthodox and the "fact" that he might be a bit of a "hypochondriac" when it comes to PC problems does not make it any easier for me wink.gif

(maybe i shouldn't had introduce him to these "Tools")

Post a screeny. Some variations in the core on AB are normal. It will occasionally spike up and down. But most of the time it should run at full clocks. A screeny would be helpful just to be sure the usage is normal or represents and irregularity. Below is an example of usage shown on GPU-Z.

I think when he said gpu usage, he meant the gpu load, not the frequency.

@TristanL depending on the games, it's quite normal for gpu usage/load fluctuates from 100% to 0% and vice versa, especially at 1080p. If the games performance not affected, then there's nothing to worry about. It's just cosmetic. If your friend using MSI AB for monitoring, just enable unified gpu usage.

try disabling and re-enabling crossfire prior to running Valley. if you scroll down the op . . . you'll see tweaks that will help boost your scores.

http://www.overclock.net/t/1360884/official-top-30-unigine-valley-benchmark-1-0

i scored a 70 with a single 290 oc'ed.

edit: what psu are you using?

Hello community,

Just got a nitro 390 as a replacement of my 280x tri-x. good upgrade for my part.

280x @1175/1735 :9804 graphics score
http://www.3dmark.com/3dm/8703840

i'm working on the 390 atm but i'll need your help about some stuff.

390 Nitro @1200/1600 :13888 graphics score
http://www.3dmark.com/3dm/8770965

Using Trix:
I need the +200mv and +50 power to get to 1200, it won't go further ... is it ok to leave this 24/7 ?
On the memory side it's not passing really stable after 1600....firestrike just goes black and that's it, i have to reboot.

Using Afterburner i get higher on memory with the additional Auxiliary memory voltage (1650)

There is no Auxiliary memory voltage within Trix ? ( 14.9.0)

driver used : 15.8Beta ( should i try the 15.15 or wich is best used ?)

i really would like to hit that 14k score... biggrin.gif

Thank you
