I'm using previous 15.9.1. beta and works fine.

I had major problems getting the 15.10b to even boot to desktop. So if you don't have a immediate need to update, wait for the next non-beta IMHO.

i have a question. Why are you worried about it running all night ? the fans are going to last a long time if you take care of the card.

I'm assuming his pc is in his bedroom and he wants silence.

My thoughts as well.

I usually like the noise my pc makes because at night it drowns out other disruptive noises. (live in a dorm) And I absolutely love that it does that. But if you don't have that problem then I can definitely see how it could get annoying.

I think that Powercolor's cards have a 0db mode. But even if they don't, making a custom fan profile in AB will probably solve this issue for you. Maybe you'll even be able to get them to stop spinning completely or it will at least be completely silent at low enough speeds. I think you'll be OK.

Just look up a review. From techpowerup: Idle fan noise is fantastic as the card completely turns its fans off in idle (up to 60°C)

I've been doing a little research on this lately, you can buy small heat sinks that simply stick into the vrms with thermal adhesive tape (which usually come pre-applied). This will allow the g10s fan to actively cool the vrm a lot more effectively.
