I am really satisfied with the performance of my MSI R9 390 and even more so now since I got my skylake upgrade it even performs better, BUT I don't know why they only provided the card with an HDMI 1.4a (which can max do 4k @ 24HZ) and a Displayport 1.2 which would do 4K @ 60Hz. You get enough Computer Screens today with 4K and Displayport connection, but finding a 4k TV with displayport is difficult and if it has one, it is a really expensive TV. I thought back then, "Ok, just get an adapter" but looking through amazon and other sites I only found 4k @ 30Hz max so far. It would be sufficient, but like you said Agent you might get tearing effects.
Thx, but thats mini-displayport to HDMI and as stated in the specs on amazon "ULTRA HD: Support HDMI Ultra HD solution up to 4K@30Hz". Again only 30Hz
Thx aswell, but that is HDMI to HDMI and not HDMI to Displayport.
Maybe this one??? Doesn't say it in the specs, but customers confirmed 4k @ 60 Hz. http://www.amazon.com/aLLreLi-DisplayPort-Adapter-Gold-Plated-Connector/dp/B00ZA067MA/ref=pd_sim_23_2?ie=UTF8&refRID=159RSWNCD3ZX9BZ36ABG&dpID=314vlE80xWL&dpSrc=sims&preST=_AC_UL160_SR160%2C160_
Edit: ok checked on the German Amazon and there the specs state again 4k only @ 30Hz
Whhyyyyyy, only why I ask you????Edited by AverdanOriginal - 10/21/15 at 4:41am
